City centre venue secured

Nourish Scotland is also pleased to announce that a venue has been secured for Dundee’s public diner. The diner will be located at 1a High Street in the city centre, on the site of the former Giza restaurant. 

Anna Chworow, Nourish Scotland’s Deputy Director is delighted that a great site has been found.

“The findings from our extensive community consultation clearly showed that people want public diners to be centrally located and easy to get to. Our chosen High Street venue in Dundee provides both and also offers plenty of space for diners to come and enjoy a decent meal in welcoming surroundings. This site emerged as the favourite during an extensive consultation undertaken in the city, so we can’t wait for opening day in the late autumn.”
